The Arson That Landed Both Cauvin Brother's in Prison
Julian Cauvin, Julian James; Julian Jay

Though I had actually removed this story from my site several years ago, due to Julian James (Cauvin) harassing my wife with text messages flyers and a bevy of posts filled with lies and false accusations, I've decided to put this information back in the public domain. The news reports will alway be on the web, thus I'm merely sharing publicly available information.

Most interestingly, at the time of this arson I was actually using Mr. James (Cauvin) as a mortgage loan officer (Had no idea what a piece of shit he was at the time).

Mr. Cauvin himself told me he had persuaded his brother to assist him in purchasing a home in Newport Hills, which is in Bellevue WA. Julian James/Cauvin knew the owner of the home, Skye Benson.

Using his brothers credit, which was apparently very good credit, Julian pocketed $40,000 at closing on the home (common practice in 2008). Julian told me he split the 40k with his brother and they moved into the house.

Disputes over the money and high mortgage payments soon arose between the two and Patrick burned the home down, almost killing the family next door in the process. During the investigation of the arson, Julian was picked up by the US Marshals office as he had escaped from a Nevada prison and was promptly returned there.

Patrick was convicted of the arson and sent to prison in Washington State, so via one fire two brother's went to prison. Sadly, I have no doubt that had Julian not entered his brothers life after escaping prison he never would have become a convicted arsonist sitting in prison.

Julian later attempted to collect on the home's insurance policy, claiming he was a victim of the arson using a law designed to compensate spouses when one of them burns the family home down as revenge on the other. His attempt failed when he was sent to prison.
