I am always amazed at how easy it is for frauds to dump these idiotic fake pieces of military history into the public market for novice collectors to soak up.
How can anyone believe that these are real? Do you really think you can get an item owned by Hitler or Eva Braun for next to nothing on eBay? Do you really think the SS cranked out a ton of lighters and cigarette cases marked RZM on the bottom, as scarce and valuable as metal was at that time?
Why do you think coins were made with the cheapest alloys available? Radios were even produced with as little metal as possible for the war effort; use your head.
